It is important to create a new vision for your life, especially now that we have gone through a tough year and a half hunkering down and feeling our lives change as COVID hit the nation and the world. It was not unusual to feel high anxiety and low depression as these forced life changes were thrust upon us. This is not what we wanted and Americans do not do well when they don’t get what they want. Think wide and free. Think of taking a deep breath and endless possibilities. Remove the cloak of oppression from COVID. Throw away the fear. What is in front of your eyes now?

To feel as if your life is moving forward in new directions, take out your pad and pen and begin writing a life you want. Write in bullets or in paragraphs it doesn’t matter. Just write! When we write we get to see how our minds think and how we honestly feel.
Writing about the life we want helps us move out of anxiety. It gives us new hope, a new light, and a new perspective on what is possible.
